The Cost of winning

Winning is everything. I had to dig deep to start THIS with such a statement even though I believe it to be true, deep inside, intrinsically for me I know this to be true but even though I am an individual, I live and work within a society.

If striving is virtuous then winning cannot be far from that, our constant pursuit of improvement isn’t futile nor is it incidental, we want to be better, make things better because we subtly believe that is why we are here, to make things better.

Your natural inclination is to make things better, the only time one strays away from this is when they sense a lack of capability in themselves. We all at some stage come to grips with our potential but rarely do we come to terms with it, accepting who and what you could become if you fully committed to it.

We fear being better but in our deepest thoughts and moments of clarity, we’ve seen this higher self, a version of ourselves that will come to be only once we’ve accepted our natural inclination.

To step out from the crowd and by this, I don’t mean stand out but to be exceptional, you have to accept and understand that it requires you to be an anomaly, the odd one out, it’s the cost of winning, your entire existence becomes an enigma, this is because you are special.
